We think outside the confines of the workwear only box – pushing the boundaries to breathe fresh life into classic designs, taking you from work to weekend with effortless elegance whilst paying homage to our roots that are firmly ensconced in natures WILD landscape. Natalie, our founder and designer ensures that there is no detail too small to be considered, designing beautifully feminine, yet practical tailoring that will become wardrobe classics for years to come.
The perfect Cut
Our design team works tirelessly to ensure we achieve the perfect fit for our customers, embracing the feminine silhouette and redefining the rules of tailoring whilst maintaining soft structure for a fresh approach to formal dressing adding smart styling to your wardrobe whether it be for work or weekend wear.
Lapels
We love varying the look of a jacket or coat by changing this detail. Our signature ‘Harrington’ coat being the perfect example-offering a confident look with its stand collar that makes a statement and will smarten you up for any occasion.
Linings
All our tailoring is immaculately finished inside and out, we use an array of colourful and complimentary linings to encapsulate our LOVE of colour. A pop of colour from the lining of your jacket or coat will add a bit of personality to an otherwise un-interesting inside and ensure that timeless is never boring. We may be serious about what we do, but we never forget to have fun doing it.
“Working’ Button Holes”
Traditionally only found on bespoke tailoring- we ensure all our jackets and coats have ‘working’ buttons, all individually cut and sewn adding a sartorial nod to each piece- many with a contrasting coloured flower lapel button hole-this is the slit in the lapel of a jacket, which was used to hold a fresh flower.
Bespoke Trims and Buttons
Natalie considers every final detail to be as important to her as the design itself, adding innovation to the most classic of styles. Buttons are all hand designed-many are embossed with the RW logo and immaculately finished to compliment the look.
Melton
We always line the underneath of our jacket and coat collars with melton in complimentary colours- a strong specialised woollen cloth, this is vital to ensure the collar retains its body and keeps the edge looking sharp.All our tailoring is immaculately finished inside and out, we use an array of colourful and complimentary linings to encapsulate our LOVE of colour. Pockets
Another fine detail. Jet, welted, patch, or ticket pockets (originally designed to hold a train ticket in the 19th century). We consider them all to be as functional as they are key to our designs.
Tweeds
Lastly, we are privileged to work with some of Scotland’s oldest mills to create some of the world’s most exceptional tweeds, without these mills we would not be able to produce our collections. Each season Natalie selects designs from vast archives which will form the start of a fresh collection-working two seasons ahead of herself.
