Maker’s Focus – Working with Liberty Print Fabrics

We are fortunate enough to have been able to work alongside Liberty and their iconic archive print collections for nearly two decades. Each season Natalie carefully selects which designs, colours and natural fabrics will work alongside our handwoven tweeds to deliver a polished yet playful look to pair with our renowned tailoring for a soft feminine silhouette.

Our beautiful silk and cotton shirts and dresses form the core of our collections. Designed to elevate your everyday look, the pattern and palette changes seasonally, as do the design details, from our classic collar to pussy bow neck ties.  Mother of pearl buttons and thoughtful design details add the finishing touch.

We use Liberty fabrics in natural fibres such as silks and cottons because they are better for the earth, feel better to wear, and will last for years to come.

Natalie draws most of her inspiration from the natural world and as many Liberty prints are hand drawn from botanical plants and flowers, this connects Natalie with her love of the wild countryside surrounding us. ‘My mother knew most of the names of our British wildflowers and we used to share long country walks together which encouraged my passion for nature. I think therefore it gives me great happiness to work with fabrics that take their inspiration from our distinct landscapes with so many colours and patterns to soak up and draw from creatively.’

Iconic Liberty silks in hand drawn floral prints, exceptional Scottish tweeds and classic cuts make every item we design as unique as the woman wearing them. Merging elegance with edge, teamed with our constant commitment to quality and detail, our designs can be worn every day, crafted to add refinement to your personal style.
