Journey as a Modern-Day Woman:

My journey as a modern-day woman has been a dynamic blend of corporate job and personal passion. Currently, I hold the role

of Program Manager at YouTube, specialising in global one-to-many creator education. Working among some of the most talented

individuals globally, the creative space at YouTube allows my organisational skills to align seamlessly with my passion for creativity.

Beyond my corporate role, my love for fashion and wardrobe styling, deeply rooted in childhood influences from my mother, has led

me to explore and initiate wardrobe consultations. What began as a pandemic-inspired passion project has grown into a weekend

side business, attracting like-minded individuals drawn to principles of timeless wardrobes that work for you.

Navigating Balance Between Professional Endeavors and Personal Life as a Mother:

Navigating my career alongside motherhood feels a bit like a delicate dance, backed by the amazing support of my partner and

extended family. Balancing client meetings during my son’s nap time, I use the flexibility offered by both my IT and styling roles.

Making my way through this challenge involves some strategic time management and a heartfelt commitment to being present

for all of my son’s little milestones. Motherhood has surprisingly upped my productivity, turning challenges into opportunities,

all while keeping my professional life fulfilling.

However, let’s face it, this journey comes with its fair share of mom guilt—whether it’s working extra hours in the evening or

missing out on bedtime stories. It’s a common struggle for moms and women in today’s workplace, trying to find that elusive

balance. To be fair, I’m working on it, and I don’t think I will ever find that balance that will make me feel good. The quest for

improvement and the desire to be present for every one of my son’s milestones add a layer of complexity. Yet, overcoming these

challenges involves embracing flexibility, building a robust support system, and making the most of perks like remote work and

caregiver’s leave. It’s about creating a foundation for women to thrive both professionally and personally in

today’s demanding work landscape.

Celebrating Mother’s Day and Making it Special:

Mother’s Day holds a profound significance for me, falling within days of my son’s birth. I’ve established a heartfelt tradition of

writing birthday letters to my son. This annual reflection on my motherhood journey, expressed through love letters, creates a

unique bond. The intention is to share and read these letters together when he turns 18, transforming Mother’s Day into a

celebration not only of our special bond but also a cherished homage to the remarkable journey of motherhood.
