Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Moscow and now live in London.
What made you move to London and how long have you lived here?
My marriage to an English man made me move here. I love it here and have been in London for 3 years already.
Favourite London restaurant?
It’s hard to answer. I like “Gold” in Notting Hill
Where would you typically find Lys in London?
Notting Hill – 100% and V&A museum.
Our Really Wild women have a love for both the city and the country. Where’s your favourite British countryside escape?
Wiltshire!
You have been a model for many years. What has been your proudest career moment?
I think Kerastase Campaign (the poster was everywhere for 5 years). Vogue cover, as well as working shows during the FW, when you are working with legendary designers, like Armani, D&G, Dior, Dsquared, Valentino, Vivienne Westwood…
Not only are you a successful model, but you’re also a mother. What has motherhood taught you?
Motherhood made me finally a grown-up. 🙂
How do you like to find balance in your busy life?
I need to work on different projects at the same time, it always makes me feel active and inspired.
What is your favourite piece from our AW20 collection and why?
I liked most of them but I would say the Belted Jacket and Turn up Trousers suit. It makes you feel as though you are part of the English aristocracy world.
Best moment on our AW20 photoshoot?
My favourite part of the shoot was shooting on the beautiful Elizabeth Street in Belgravia.
