Trendy Coats to Elevate Your Wardrobe

The best thing about winter outfits are of course the coats, and there’s nothing I love reaching for more than a beautifully made piece.

Really Wild coats are designed with British heritage in mind, using the most incredible fabrics and stunning tailoring to create timeless

wardrobe staples that will last years and years. Layer them over jumpers, pair with dark denim jeans or even take them into Spring

with lighter blouses. Here are some of my favourite Really Wild coats and how I’ve been styling them around London.

The Single Breasted Wool Coat in Brown Oak

Coats to elevate your wardrobe

Chocolate brown has been hugely popular this season, and for good reason! This shade in 100% wool fabric, paired with the classic

single breasted design makes for the perfect staple coat in my eyes. It’s a great piece if you’re looking for something with

versatility that you can style up for workwear or with jeans and trainers for an everyday outfit. It has made getting dressed

so effortless in the morning as the warmth of the brown pairs so beautifully with both neutrals and colours.

The Belted Houndstooth Check Wool Coat in Taupe Dogtooth

Coats to elevate your wardrobe

When styling a statement coat, I love to keep my base layers neutral and monotone and to offset the outfit with my accessories.

There are so many beautiful details to this coat, from the tie waist and cute collar, to the stunning design of the deep vent and

vertical buttons at the back. This is a truly beautiful coat that nods to British heritage with its houndstooth fabric, and is

given a modern twist with a relaxed fit.

Double Breasted Wool Coat in Wheat Herringbone

Coats to elevate your wardrobe

What’s more chic than a neutral double breasted coat in a classic British herringbone fabric? This piece instantly elevates an outfit and

can be styled for many different occasions. I’ve been wearing it with trainers while walking around London, but I would also pair it with

kitten heels or heeled boots for a more sophisticated workwear outfit. When looking for investment pieces for my wardrobe,

I always look at the details. The fabric covered buttons of this coat are one of my favourite things to note, including the pop

of red in the stitching. It’s little details like this that I love when shopping at Really Wild.
